  There are so many wonderful things about Starting Point, it's hard to even know where to start. The community at Starting Point is so welcoming and friendly. As a shy person, it was easy to get to know people at Starting Point because everyone went out of their way to meet me and get to know me. It's the strongest and most welcoming community of people I have ever met.
  
  The messages each week are directly applicable to life. I feel I can walk out of every service and start applying the principles right away. As someone who didn't grow up in church, I was surprised by the applicable wisdom found in the Bible. A wisdom I now wish I had years ago. Pastor Mike delivers each message in a genuine way with some humour thrown in there too, which I really like.
  
  But maybe the best part of Starting Point is that they welcome all people at every stage of their faith journey. My husband is an atheist and I wasn't always a believer. Starting Point welcomed me and my husband with open arms.
  
  And lastly I do need to mention the children's programs. My daughter is very shy, like me, and I was so worried about putting her in the nursery. The volunteers in the nursery made me feel very comfortable and have done an excellent job taking care of my daughter.
  
  I highly recommend Starting Point, not only as a great place to learn Biblical principles, but as a great community of people.
